So beautifully clean and pretty!!!

“No planned HBP release date as yet,” says JKR’s publicist. Oh well *sighs*

I still have to pre-order Ayu’s My Story. I’m just a bit too lazy to do anything online at the moment. I think the album’s going to be great because this year’s singles were so good. Even if the rest of the album is going to be weaker than those songs it’s still going to a lovely album.

In somewhat related news: Garbage will release their new album in April 2005. I’m not exactly sure what to expect from an album that’s titled Bleed Like Me and features songs like Boys Wanna Fight, Right Between The Eyes and Bad Boyfriend… But I won’t judge it just from hearing some of the song titles, of course. Plus I’ve grown to like the past 2 albums so I might like this one too even though they were just mediocre.
Aah, I still swoon when I think of the time when their debut came out in 1995 and its brilliance just blew away everyone including myself! That CD is an almost flawless album, it’ll stay with me for the rest of my life just like in the past 9 years. It’s absolutely timeless and definitely one of my top-10 albums of all time ♥

In addition to that, Idlewild and Hot Hot Heat are also going to release their new albums early next year so I’m starting to get the feeling that 2005 will be absolutely great as far as new music is concerned.

First: weather diary. (Am I turning into a Japanese?)
On Friday, Nov 19, we had the first snow of the year. Just one inch of it, but nevertheless, cold white fluffy snow. Other places in the country had to face terribly storms. Here, the snow came quietly over night and even in the morning, there wasn’t even a tiny breeze ruffling the tops of the trees in front the house.
Then in the following night, we got lots of snow. At 3 a.m. I opened my window and thick fluffy flakes of snow were quietly falling to the earth. Everything was so quiet as if all the nightly noises were muffled by the snow and it was so bright outside because the snow reflected the lights of the city. It was so beautiful.
My affection for the weather declined slightly in the evening when I came back home from shopping and it was snowing quite heavily and there was also lots of wind… At one point, I had to walk backwards because the wind was so strong it kept blowing all the snow into my face I had hidden under the hood of my jacket. When I came home I looked like a sugar-coated version of myself with the half an inch layer of snow the was covering me -_-;;
From Sunday on, the temperature has risen considerably again, the snow melted into puddles and it’s the end of wonderful winter weather. Bah.

I’ve been reading so much these past few weeks, I ran out of books! So last week I reread the five Harry Potter books. I’ve never read a novel twice in my whole life (except Lord of the Rings) because I usually remember all the tiniest details and I get bored reading everything all over again but with HP, it’s so wonderfully written and complex I read those books like it was the first time. I love them so much! And I hope Mugglenet.com’s sources are really reliable and HBP will come out in June 2005…!

Speaking of LotR: When exactly is the RotK EE coming out? The official site says Dec 14 but amazon.de says the German box set will come out Dec 10. Does that mean some international versions are released earlier than the American one? Either way… I can hardly wait!!

All is quiet on the flea front. So good.

About 2 weeks ago, my mother bought me Harvest Moon for the Gamecube. I was a bit mad at her for buying it just at that moment when I had so much work to do – but OMG, it brought back so many memories of hour-long Harvest Moon sessions on the Super Nintendo! *_*
The game hasn’t changed at all except for graphics, of course. I love being a farmer ^^; I love having my cow, my horse, my sheep, my dog… aaall my animals are super cute. Life in that valley is great, it’s almost like having some sort of parallel life to RL :)

I’m back with Miss Johansson. I usually hate making layouts but I wanted a new one to go with my LJ’s colour scheme.

So many things happened that I wanted to write about… I just didn’t have enough time for long online sessions because I had so much to do. So here’s just a short of what’s been happening lately and what I didn’t have the chance to comment on:
-Hagaren anime ending: I quite liked it. It wasn’t too bad bad for a TV series ending whose manga version is still being continued.
-Nov 2. Didn’t really expect a different outcome. I’m just sorry for everyone who’s made the right choice and for all those people who fought so hard to make a change.
-Flea invasion. We took in a stray cat for a few days and she brought a plague of evil in the form of fleas with her. We all didn’t notice it at first and now we have to fight back with chemical weapons because it’s gotten so bad >_<
-Single again. Not a big deal.

My hunger for books (without pictures, please) is insatiable.
