music:::Porori – Yumemiru hana
Swooning over RotK promo pics. The Aragorn/Elessar pic is breath-taking.
Train is leaving in an hour. Here’s a cookie for you.
A few more samples and short short reviews when I get back at the end of the week.
PS. Buy the Porori single (Yumemiru hana/Takaramono…)! It’s so lovely and cute and wonderful.

music:::Calla – televise (album)
I’m so bad at keeping the balance.
I’m too obesessive and if my mind is focused on one thing, it’s kind of hard to get myself to do other things which need to be done. I’m planning too many things but cannot find the right place and time for them.
I’m going to force myself to get a few important things done tomorrow. Personal, uni and online stuff.
And after that I’ll have a quiet week in the country :)
Not being with you all the time doesn’t mean you’re not important to me. You really are.

I’m staying away from the internet… For a whole load of reasons. Too many to mention.
This war. It’s a week old and I’ve already forgotten what it was like to watch TV without little newsbars at the bottom of the screen. Not only does this war mean the failure of democracy on a global level, but also the end of TV on-screen design/aestheticism. Or something.
Bush, you master of high-level distraction, you. It’s not all about the oil, I’ve come to realize. See, here in good (?) old Europe, politicians aren’t as clever as to distract from a country’s true problems.
We’re perfectly aware of economical erm, let’s call ‘em discrepancies. And no politician could ever act so wonderfully as to make us blind for them.
Democracy doesn’t work. Democracy, in almost its entirety, is the ruling of the dumb and stupid. I wish it would work, but it’s only wishful thinking, dreaming, like the communists did a couple of decades ago. Politics makes me cry.
Randomness of the moment:
Watching anime again. My late-night pleasures. Ah, Wolf’s Rain. How can a mecha fan like me resist Gundam Seed? .hack//Udeden is pure blasphemy, but fun nevertheless. (And Balmung, of course I’m only watching the series because of him.) Can’t wait for DNAngel. It starts next week so the first fansub episode might come out in two weeks time. Can’t wait! Irino Miyu voice acting goodness.
75% of the oscars went to all the wrong people/movies. Again. But the nominations were kind of wrong in the first place anyway.
I’m being lazy and keep forgetting about all the stuff I have to do for uni ;_;
No internet next week as I’ll be visiting a friend. She doesn’t have DSL and I don’t want to help making her telephone bill explode ^^;

Haha, guess I spoke to early last week -_-;; Things were actually getting much worse and not better at that point of time… But – I feel definitely better now, and when life has its ups and downs, I think I’m on my way to a nice up again.
Now, where do I start?
Amy, thank you for your email :3 Yep, try OCS or any other Japanese bookstore for that _special_ issue of Shoxx. I think you can order back copies of the mag quite easily from any of them. And if all fails, I’ll happily provide scans. (Would’ve done that right when I got the mag but my scanner-kun is gathering dust in my apartment in T. and I don’t have access to a scanner here ;_; )
Oh and a few book recommendations: Try Hesse’s ‘Beneath the Wheel’ and ‘Demian’, I like them a bit better than Siddhartha. And everyone seems to love Steppenwolf (but I think that’s just because this is the only Hesse book most German students know cause we have to read that in school -_-;) Dazai Osamu’s ‘Ningen Shikkaku’ (No longer human) was one of most enjoyable of the books I’ve been reading in the last few months. I didn’t know anything about the book or the author when I started reading it (yes, shame on me) and I was pleasantly surprised how cool it was. (I’m usually a bit … hesitant when it comes to so-called classics of Japanese literature but this one was brilliant.)
This war is ugly, just like all the other ones before it. I did some blog-hopping and got nearly sick of reading posts from Americans whose only contact with war comes from stupid Hollywood movies, people who seem to think war is nothing but some fancy fireworks on CNN or Fox or ABC or NBC …
And I totally agree with toriko (read her March 20, 12:43 am post). I’m sick and tired of this kindergarten behaviour!
Randomness:
I’m so happy to be back here, with my family. I think going back to T. in late April will be the hardest of all things ;_;
I did some Viggo-spotting when The Prophecy/God’s Army was on TV earlier today. God, he’s so damn cool.
Yasei no bara is back in Asuka, and it’s cuter than ever. But nothing beats Betsuma, my dearest of all shoujo manga mags ♥
Things to come:
Indies reviews and samples. Yes, just when you thought they’d never happen.
Site updates… maybe?

Just a really short note before I disappear again:
I’m really sick at the moment (high fever, sore throat, an almost deaf right ear and all). I know I shouldn’t even be here now but I want to let you know that I’m fine (as in: I’m alive) and I’ll probably be back in one or two days cause I’m starting to feel better again.
Audrey, I’ll write you an email as soon as I can see clearly again (everything’s still quite blurry, must be the fever). I got your present ♥ ♥ ♥
Amy, you HAVE to buy Shoxx 3/2003! This is an order! Akiya solo pics + personal interview. That photos are gorgeous, you’ll never ever want him to have red hair again cause he looks so damn gooood the way he is now. Buy Shoxx and I won’t be the only one with a high temperature here ^^;
(And that interview… I love those kind of personal interviews when they get to tell a few things about their past and so on. Akiya’s current favourite bands: Massive Attack and ZWAN o_O)
And what’s wrong with frenetica.net? Has it expired? Email me if you need webspace (temporary or long-term).

music:::baroque – baby baby
Ah, I’m home. And it’s snowing ;_; It looks so strange to me cause I’m more used to the early spring with all its lovely sunny days in T. than this winter weather here. But it’s nice to be back with my family again, of course!
My Third Stage package and Betsuma 3 were already waiting for me when I got home. I’m very very happy with my new CDs, they’re all extremely good – except for the Yougenkyou star CD which is a piece of crap. I LOVE the baroque single! It’s awesome, I’m very very happy about the band’s ‘evolution’. The Aliza Marie single is so much better than its predecessor, the Porori single is pure cuteness and the Hotaru maxi (mini album?) is so damn cool! I’ll write a bit more about the CDs in the next couple of days and I’ll also upload a few samples, but give me a little more time cause my room’s still a mess and I also need to visit a few old friends first^^
