My head is spinning from anger, stress and sleep deprivation.
This whole 3D having been arrested thing is just… wrong. Look, 99% of guys store porn on their computers, arresting him for that is just bullshit cause they could arrest about 30% of the country for the same reason. Accusing him of possessing child pornography is just sick. He’d never download stuff like that. Arresting him for drug possession… oh well, we all know he’s been a bit too open about that. But why make such a big thing out of it, raiding his house and stuff?
This stinks.

Did a lot of nothing today and feel so damn tired from it. Scanned quite a few images for the merry site, looked through fashion catalogues, started to clean the apartment (2 more days and I’m going home!). Those kind of things. My Le Coq Sportif sneakers won’t be here till the end of March and as I’m not in T. at that time, they’ll have to wait till late April (when I return to T.). I want to place a huge amazon order and I’m finally going to buy a PS2. < — My plans for the future.

April 13: release of merry’s first full album
Looks like there will be quite a few previously released songs on it (two songs each from the two Koseiha Blend CDs and also earlier released stuff). I do have mixed feelings about it but ah, I am looking forward to it.

The excursion sucked. Now I definitely know what I’m never ever going to do in the future, at least. No work at radio/TV stations for me.

Got a whole lot of books from the uni library for all the free time I now have. Japanese modern classics is a new field to conquer, I’ve started with Dazai’s Ningen Shikkaku. Awesome read. (Also got a few more Murakami Ryu books, just to have some stuff that I really love to read.)

Passed: Japanese I, Japanese History I, Introduction to Media Studies.
Still don’t know about background studies, she’s taking so much time to give out the results…

My second semester’s schedule is giving me a headache :(

I’m in a bit of a hurry. Tomorrow I’ll have to get up at 5 in the morning cause we’ll be going on an excursion to Mainz (TV/radio stations and the Gutenberg museum, boring stuff I believe) with the media seminar group and we’ll be leaving at 6.30 am -_- And no bus is driving up to uni that early in the morning so I’ll have to sleep at a friend’s who lives near uni. Ah well. We’re going to watch lots and lost of weird Japanese films tonight, get drunk and walk to uni at 6 in the morning without having slept a single minute.

I got a call from my dad and he told me my Third Stage parcel arrived a few days ago. Now I don’t know whether I should go home on Sunday, like I’d planned, or stay here a little longer (cause I’d really love to stay with my friends here a little longer)…

Und jetzt zur Abwechslung nochmal etwas auf Deutsch. Das ist doch besser, wenn es um etwas kompliziertere Dinge geht.
Ich w�rde schon noch gern hier bleiben, aber das w�re eh relativ bl�dsinnig, da alle bald heimfahren und ich dann hier ganz allein w�re. Es ist doch jedesmal dasselbe: Erst f�llt es einem nach den Ferien so schwer, sich wieder hier einzugew�hnen, und dann will man gar nicht mehr weg.
Was ich nat�rlich am meisten vermissen werde, sind die ganzen lieben und wichtigen Leute hier. Ich wei� nicht, aber irgendwie ist mein Input von au�en zu Hause so gering, dass ich bef�rchte, dementsprechend gering wird auch mein Output sein. Also keine gro�en kreativen Leistungen in den Ferien. (Nicht, dass ich die jemals sonst vollbr�chte… ;) )

Wie auch immer. Ich w�rd gern woanders hin. Mit C-chan. Ich glaub schon, dass sie mit nach Berlin ziehen w�rde. T. ist klein, wahnsinnig klein. Und das jetzt schon, nach gerade mal f�nf Monaten. Ich brauch etwas mehr… Kultur. Leben. Gro�stadt und so. Berlin ist auch so sch�n nah an zu Hause. Die NCs an der Freien Uni sind aber so hoch, ist ja klar bei dem Andrang. Ich glaub nicht, dass ich da eine Chance bei Filmwissenschaft h�tte. (Wie war das? NC von 1,5 oder noch h�her? Und ich hab nur 1,6.). Aber es muss ja nicht die FU sein… Es geht halt nur darum, soviel wie m�glich aufzusaugen (Input, siehe oben). Ich muss meinen Kopf irgendwie besch�ftigen.

Naja. Am Dienstag geht’s erstmal nach Mainz. Exkursion mit dem MeWi-Kurs. F�hlt sich jetzt schon ein wenig an wie Klassenfahrt, irgendwie seltsam. Und am Mittwoch noch Kram f�r die Hausarbeit mit J erledigen und dann war’s das auch schon f�r’s erste Semester. Dann heim und endlich wieder ausschlafen, Essen gekocht und W�sche gewaschen bekommen, ganz viel Musik h�ren und einfach mal nur _passiv_ sein :)

I’ve already posted a few days ago. Blogger ate that entry though and I was too annoyed to type all that crap again.
So, basically, I’m fine. Don’t have much to complain about. The four exams were okay; too easy for my liking, to be honest. I already know I’ve passed two of ‘em (haven’t got the result for the media test, though) and I’ll have to wait till mid-next week to see if I’ve passed Japanese and background studies.

So this was my first semester. I’ve met so many new people, learnt so many new things, it’s needless to say that I’m happy with everything I’ve achieved in the past five months. I’m looking forward to the second semester, but for the moment of course, I’m very much looking forward to going home cause I need a break from all of this so badly. This will have to wait ten more days, though, as I’ll be staying here till Sunday (March 2).

music:::Kagrra – gozen

Just read 180 pages on Japanese cultural history. Then I put on gozen and, ah, it’s so powerful and refreshing. (And maybe I’m in a state of weird Japan-mania. It must be all that studying. Plus all that Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi and Kagrra stuff. But I feel so fine, oh yes.)
PS. I want the Mononoke Hime DVD ;_;

I’ve been wanting a EVA DVD box for so long… and then Gainax comes and does us all a huge favour and announces the release of ‘Revival’ DVD versions of the whole series. – And then they come and tell me the box is 40,000 yen ;_; I could be patient and buy the individual DVDs but I can’t and I want that damn box thing with all 26 episodes, 4 special re-done episodes and the movies. And a bonus disc.
It’s a looooong time till June 25 and I’ll do my best to save money. Yes.

I really hate this whole atmosphere of exams. They’re looming in the back of my head and last night I even dreamed of sitting there and completely failing my media exam. The most annoying thing is that my amazon order with that really helpful history book is taking ages to arrive. (Three days for a small parcel from Munich to T.? Hellooo?) All my friends are kind of relaxed when it comes to next week’s exams, some of them haven’t even started reading yet. But I want to be prepared. I’d rather study too much then fail the exams and have to retake the whole courses.
