Aah damn, I hate being sick >_< I've been having this enormous headache for about three years now and it's getting worse and worse. It's kind of a sharp pain, I usually had it just once a month or something but it's been appearing more often in the last three months. Two nights ago it was really bad, I actually felt like dying from those sudden strokes of pain. I had to see a doctor yesterday and got my head x-rayed plus I'll have to get a blood test done tomorrow. I'm not sure when they'll tell me the results of all that stuff, I just hope it's nothing that bad >_< I think health is something we take for granted as long as we have it. It’s just in times of illness that we are more aware of how much worth a healthy body and mind are. Being seriously ill puts everything into a whole new perspective, as being confronted with death usually does. It makes me question a lot of things, like, are certain things worth putting up with and am I doing the right things…? But I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m very satisfied with my life so far, there a no decisions I made that I regret now and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so far.
Oh my god, we’ve reached the final *_* Now who would’ve thought that four weeks ago? I’m really looking forward to the Turkey v Brazil match, hope Turkey will win!
I have a ton of baroque images that need editing jobs. I shouldn’t have waited so long… from now on I’ll scan the images as soon as I get a new magazine so I won’t have to put up with pics from four mags >_<
Baroque’s official site has just been updated with new pics. I must say Bansaku’s getting prettier and prettier. I love the way his hair looks at the moment and the colour of it is beautiful. (Eh, my mother once said it’s the same colour my hair is, but my hair is not that orange o_O but Banchan’s hair tends more towards blonde in the latest photos so I guess she’s sort of right.)
Talking of Banchan: Hayakawa Tomoko (who is a Bansaku fan^^)’s manga series Yamato nadeshiko Shichi Henge is on the cover of this month’s Betsufure. I wonder if I should buy it… but then again, I have just gotten five new manga mags and I won’t finish all of them till next month anyway. I’ve also noticed that Ikezawa Satomi’s Othello is running in Betsufure, too. Another series that has visual kei references. Another series I’ll end up spending my hard-earned (*coughcough* yeah right *cough*) money on.
Anyway, I need to decide what mags I’ll keep buying regularly. I cannot afford more than three (two would be better, I can’t read that much anyway). Asuka’s latest issue is very good (better than the disappointing June issue) and I’ll keep buying it like I have done for more than two years. I won’t drop it till X is finished. I also love the debut yomikiri in there. (I wonder why in the recent series and yomikiri, the characters seem to be younger and younger. Now there’re all these stories with twelve-year-olds in them which is… irritating.) So I’ll probably buy a more ’serious’ shoujo mag (probably Betsuma, I’ve been buying -and loving- it since the beginning of my AkuDe obsession ^^;) to balance the fantasy-heavy Asuka. And then, every two months, there’s Zipper Comic^^ So that’s 2 and a half mags each month. Good.
On other manga mag news: There’ll be a 40-page Akuma de sourou yomikiri in Betsuma 8 featuring Takeru’s and Kayano’s little brother ^-^ Definitely looking forward to that one^^
Just got the tracklists for the two new Kagerou CDs: each of them has three tracks and one of those three is a previously released song. To be more precise (^^;), CD 1 has three tracks, one of which is R Sitai; CD 2 has three tracks, one of which is Wristcutter. Now, I’m seriously depressed. Each CD costs 1500 yen, so if you want to get both of them, you’ll end up paying as much as you’ll pay for a full (i.e. 12-track) album, only you’ll be getting just 6 songs, two of which are on other (previously released) maxis. Long story short: Get 4 new songs and pay for 12. What is that?? I thought PS Company were bad.
I hate people who constantly seem to live in the past. Who whine about how good the old times were. Even though I’m a bit hesitant to accept changes, I’m not that blind as to not realise there’s something good in everything. I’m not an optimist, just some sort of optimistic pessimist (o_O), but I’m not saying that things are dying just because they’re changing. Why are those people holding onto the past like that?
On a related note: I’m almost done selling all that Matina crap I’ve bought over the last couple of months and years (DAS:VASSER being the only exception here). It wasn’t that much to begin with so it wasn’t very hard to get rid of it. …There was so much crap around, I’m really glad about what the ’scene’ has been changing into. People complain that nowadays there are so many bad bands around, but the truth is there’s always been a mass of untalented bands, now and then, that never should have gotten record deals.
New layout. It’s pink and girlish, just like I wanted it to be^^ The image was scanned from the Nana clear file that comes with this month’s Cookie magazine.
I’m really relieved that Kagrra are not breaking up. I think they probably were thinking of breaking up (or someone was thinking of leaving the band), otherwise they wouldn’t have made that big a deal of that decision. I’m glad things will stay the way they are now for a little longer.
Well, looks like I was coming down with something serious last Thursday because by Friday noon I had a temperature which got higher and higher till Monday. I remember that I watched the Spain v Ireland match on Sunday, cried afterwards and thought that this match could’ve easily been the best match of the world cup so far if it hadn’t ended with that result. (My memory of the match itself is quite blurry, I shouldn’t even have watched TV with a temperature like that in the first place.) Then there was this heat wave which wasn’t good at all because my body felt hot both from the inside and the outside. I swear I could feel my blood boiling in my veins.
Now I’m well again, though. Still a bit shaky but well enough to go online again. I have a lot of things to catch up on (not just online) so I cut the world cup talk. It’s nice to be back ^_^ , I missed everyone so much…
Itaiiii, my eyes are burning o_o I got up really really early because our apartment had to be checked. Went shopping, crashed at a friend’s afterwards, watched two football matches, went home. I’m tired, not because of my getting up so early but due to the weather I guess. There’re huuuuge gray clouds hiding the sun but there’s no rain or thunder or other similar fun.
I need to learn to do one thing after the other. My head is already working on upcoming projects when it should be occupied with current things. Oh well. Someone better send me off to university…
(It just started raining. So there is a purpose for the clouds being there after all.)
I just can’t consume music passively. I noticed that I write the most hilarious nonsense whenever there’s music on. That’s my parents’ genes (being too much involved in anything music-related)… (I always need to sing along, too -_-;)
Tsumi to Batsu is an awesome song. Like, it’s so cool to sing along to. And those changes in pace and tone *_* Yay Akiya. I spare you the gushing.
And here’s the end of today’s rambling: I need to find someone who can tape me the Ireland-Spain match because I fear I won’t be home on Sunday ;_;
