i’m so freaking lonely in that city it almost kills me. i need to have someone here to keep me from going insane. but everyone i like is so fucking far away. fuck, even my mum’s not here right now. where’s she anyway? i think i remember her telling where she went about three hours ago, but i wasn’t really listening cause i was busy doing things online.

my little das:vasser site is almost done. there’ll be a whole lot of things to add with the updates during the next few months. i didn’t have enough time to romanize that much songs and i might also try and translate some interviews.

my mum’s back. yeah. someone to listen to me whining.

the weekend’s been incredibly cool. that must have been the best two days of the year so far. i finally met susi in dresden. i had been so fucking nervous because we’ve known each other for more than one year but we never really had the chance to meet, especially due to our final exams (we’re the same age) earlier this year.

so yeah, last saturday my dad drove me to dresden, the place susi lives right now. it was absolutely great to meet her! first we just sat n her room, talked about visual kei, swooned over our favourite bands and stuff. then we went out to meet yo-chan who i had already met 18 months ago at a concert and who also happened to be in dresden that day. then uta joined us and we went to susi’s apaato again. on our way back yo-chan told me about bonn and her japanese courses and stuff and she was trying to convince me to come to bonn too to study there. i’m still not really sure about that as i do not want to take any economics courses (which are essential for studying japanese there >_< ).

but anyway, the evening was great, i got to see the latest syndrome video (when ken-chan was still with them. ken-chan ken-chan ken-chan *fangirl fit*) and dir en grey’s macabre tour documentary which was absolutely brilliant and cute and oh my god i need to watch it again sometime.

and we watched even more vids on sunday^^ gackt’s latest tour vid (quite boring actually, and disappointing too), raphael pvs and the kazuki memorial vid and another raphael live video which was soooooo cool, yuki with pink hair and what a voice that boy has! i haven’t had the time to listen to the rice single/maxi yet though. but i love his voice and i hope he will continue rice with hiro. i do miss raphael though. they were such a brilliant band and i wish they were still a band, releasing more of such brilliant songs ;_; ahh kazuki, we all miss you so much.

we had a really really great time and i missed being with susi the time i got home and into my room, realising how great it is to talk about your favourite bands and other stuff that means so much to you with an actual person sitting right in front of you rather than just chatting online with someone you can’t see.

i called susi earlier today. we had to talk about some details of our brand x order. i hope the ipmo won’t take too long to reach japan. (and lord know’s how slow post offices can be, especially when handling something that isn’t your average letter/package/whatever.) as i’ve mentioned earlier that brand x package is going to be huge. and it was so expensive o_0 but i don’t care really, i just had to order those two miyabi photobooks ^^; i love that guy. oh, and yo-chan got to see (and touch!) him twice when she went to see due le quartz live (twice!) during her japan trip in august ;_; *jealous*

mmmm. parfait tic! was lovely. i’m going to order all remaining three volumes. the 5th one won’t be out so soon, will it?

that remix version of filth, dir en grey’s latest single, makes me feel incredibly lonely. don’t ask why though, i have no idea. *shrugs* and it reminds me of phantom of the opera, that terrible terrible synth-pop andrew lloyd webber musical. i don’t mind really, like the remix nevertheless.

we’re putting together a huuuge brand x order. i can hardly believe how much susi is intending to spend o_0 german telekom is very generous, i’d say. but i’ll punish susi with some kana songs that i’ll put on the mix tape err… cd for her ^^; it takes guts to stand through her music (kana’s, that is). she’s cute and all, but her music surely will torture susi as she’s more on the pop-ish side (i. e. glay) even though she’s right now obssessing over raphael (ah, kazuki, the pain *heartache*)

oh my, chrono sphere are goooood. first i thought their singer sounded a bit like hyde (laruku *shudders*), now he actually reminds me of sakito (due’le) but that might just be my twisted sense of hearing today …. i’m thinking about ordering their new maxi single ‘theater may cry’. it’ll be out on october 16th which would probably delay the arrival of our order. i’m not sure how long it will take the ipmo to arrive in tokyo though so i might as well order it. …i… …indecisive… (no surprise for anyone who knows me ^^;) *listens to more cs* …oh yeah… …i have to get some of their stuff yo wa ne.

akuma de sourou is ugly. and i got the first two tankoubon o_0 the story is quite alright though which makes up for the bad drawing (the faces *blergh*).

i will also put kyo’s solo tracks from his poem book/cd thingy on susi’s mix cd^^ that’s going to drive her up the walls ^^; psycho ^_____________^

oh and good good news about das:vasser!!!! they have a new guitarrist, akira! and ichirou-kun and tarou-kun both take part in yukiya’s (jils’s vocalsit; is that how you pronounce his name?) solo project. i got that from a japanese bbs so i’m not sure whether that ’solo project’ is actually this ‘yukiya with kreis project’ that is releasing an e.p. in a few days. so no big guess what i added to my brand x order ^^; oh, and i’m also determined to finish my das:va page, i promise i will ^^v

…haven’t been in the mood for blogging, not even for going online. this is day 6 of watching cnn 24 hours a day. it’s so sad. i just don’t want to write about it. let me just say that I’m shocked, sad and scared.

on a much more happier note: a few manga orders have arrived, so i have these piles of magazines (asuka, shoujo teikoku… comic eyes 10 hasn’t arrived yet, unfortunately) and mainly manga tankoubon spread across the floor of my room. here are some quick reviews on some of the things i’ve got:

kazumi yuana – sorayume no uta
aah, what can i say… i’ve been waiting for this eagerly as i’ve been very very fond of hyakumantsubu no namida, kazumi-sensei’s current series running in asuka. the tankoubon contains all chapters of sorayume no uta plus a yomikiri (forgot the title ^^; ). her character designs look pretty much like the ones in hykumantsubu (…), we have a male main character with blonde wild hair and a gaijin-looking female main character. you easily get the impression that kazumi-sensei uses the same characters ‘acting’ in different stories, just like actors would act in different movies.
so, yeah, even though the characters resemble those in hyakumantsubu (or rather just the other way round as sorayume is older than hyakumantsubu), the stories are actually quite different. sorayume is cyberpunk-ish science fiction, reminding me a little of yuki kaori’s neji, though the baby doll-like charcter designs in sorayume contrast with the rather dark story. in fact, with all that ‘robot boy acting human’ i felt that futuristic world was rather reminiscent of spielberg’s a.i, though, admittedly, sorayume has a much darker, sometimes even violent to gory feel, just without that gothic touch that yuki-sensei’s neji has.

sakamoto miku – nadeshiko club 1
just like w juliet this series was intended to be a yomikiri story in hakusensha’s bimonthly hana to yume. i was so hoping it would continue and so it did, due to its popularity among its japanese readers. the tankoubon contains the first chapters of nadeshiko club, a lovely typical shoujo story with a few bishounen. the first thing a noticed about the character design are the female character’s (whose name has just escaped me ^^; ) big eyes, that are not of that margaret comics style, but look rather empty. the male characters’ look very very stylish and fashionable, though, with the mangaka basically focusing on their clothes and her to make them look just like a jrock band.
i haven’t been reading the tankoubon yet so i can’t tell much about the plot. it’s basically a quite simple story. this small group of bishounen help the female main character to maintain her little housework club. it’s really heart-warming, though not in that horribly cutsie way as those ribbon manga (blergh). oh yeah, tankoubon 2 is out next week, i’ll get that one as well, as soon as my financial situation has recovered ^^;

nanaji nagamu – parfait tic! 1
a series running in margaret. i was a bit hesitant whether or not to order it as i’m not too fond of margaret comics. i didn’t regret buying this one, though. the art is typical shoujo-style, yet probably aimed at a younger audience than nadeshiko club as the main characters are 15 of age and thus are looking a bit younger than those in nc. the story so far is sweet, entertaining, nothing too dramatic has happened though. i just need to read that kind of manga inbetween those more bizarre and fantasy-ish series i love so much. and i do enjoy parfait tic, though i could never be obsessive over a series like this one. i guess i’m just too old for it ^^;

shurei kouyu – alichino 3
i haven’t the slightest clue why it took them so long to get alichino 3 for me ;_; even the lithograph set which was released almost 2 months after the tankoubon came just two and a half weeks after its release in japan. aaahh, eyecandy. pretty costumes, gothic settings and plot, ryouko. what more does it take to make me happy…?

more to come later.

currently, i find it easier to keep things to myself which might not be the best of attitudes to maintain a blog. but i’ll try the best i can, scribbling down (or rather typing up) what’s going on here (this dark place that is my mind) and there (the outside world ). …nah, wait. i’m not that scary, there aren’t that much bad or sad or depressed thoughts up there *points to her head*

those two kagrra singles arrived, together with the stuff for susi. i’ll send her package out tomorrow but i won’t tell her so she’s going to have a little surprise waiting for her when she comes home on tuesday. btw, there weren’t any flyers coming with my third stage orders ;_; what a shame. so i’ll probably order from brand x next time, also because they have a few things third stage doesn’t.

i found my copy of beneath the wheel. yay. i love that book, probably just like i love anything else hesse has ever written.
