i spent all night and most of the early morning reading siddhartha. wooo, hermann hesse is so much worth the darkest depression derrived from lack of sleep. i think i found what had been lost about two years ago. by getting myself a nice and fast computer and an even faster (but unfortunately just as stable) internet connection, a whole new world (the virtual one, that is) was opened up for me, closing one i had held so dearly for more than 10 years right behind me. i didn’t really realize what i’ve been missing during the last two years until, well, until some weeks ago. i was missing those endless hours i had spent completely lost in another world, reading books, being lost to the respective author’s words. i’m glad a got it all back, i’m glad i do not feel “disconnected” anymore whenever i shut down my computer. i’m glad i rediscovered hermann hesse.

michael schumacher has just won this year’s formular one championship (yeah right, as if anyone cared…). he’s just incredible, a brilliant driver and a warm and friendly person, he deserves it so much.

i’m terribly sorry for not making that much sense today, it’s awefully hot here. i have this feeling that opening my room’s windows won’t help at all as it is even hotter outside. someone’s got to get me some fresh and chilly air, pretty please.

oh my. the quartz are back big time with something so very different than i would have ever expected. with that sound they might go major any time. yet… it sounds so cool, even though it’s kind of straight rock and all, but hey, it’s still due’le quartz. it has that certain feeling to it that got me hooked to the band ever since i’ve heard them for the first time. i didn’t have the intention of buying replica but after hearing the mp3s some kind creature from singapore uploaded i MUST get my hands on the single. …not until my current third stage order arrives, though. so my next order will probably look like this: filth (new dir en grey single), irodori (new kagrra mini-album), some das:vasser schtuff, tsurezure naru mama ni (the last of the four “season-themed” kagrra singles) and replica by due’le quartz.

on a different note: the shurei kouyu art collection arrived. and yes, it’s just a collection of five A3 lithographs but i didn’t regret having ordered it at all. the quality of the prints is just awesome, all the colours came out pretty fine, especially the golden parts. now i need to find some pretty frames for two of the pictures. and i still haven’t given up looking for shurei kouyu-sensei’s doujinshi *hopes to find them somewhere sometime soon.

oh and that lovely french/german tv channel arte was showing an “astrid-lindgren-themed” special consisting of the movie of “Ronya R�ubertochter” (i don’t know its original swedish title; i think the book was available in english a few years ago, its title was something like “Ronia Robber’s Daughter”) and after that a small documentary about astrid lindgren and her books. i was so happy to see that the dedicated a few minutes to my favourite book of hers, which is one of my favourite books in general as well, called “Die Gebr�der L�wenherz” (Brothers Lionheart). In my opinion every child in the world should get its own copy of that book as it is so very moving and warm, yet not fluffy but exciting and… just brilliant. if there is just one writer i worship then it must be astrid lindgren. …re-reading her books brings back all those memories of my childhood and makes me get that natsukashii (nostalgic) feeling. etto, i’m getting all sentimental again -_-;

woo. i’m done ^-^ …with the first layout for yuukitenshi.net, that is. i’m on the edge of deleting my old old page but not until i’ve come up with a good redirection page ^^;;; aaahh, i feel so satisfied with myself. and i’ve started translating the first pages of hyakuman tsubu no namida. so um, yeah. finally started working after two months of doing hardly anything ^^;

the x box trailers look pretty stylish. will the x box be as “stable” as my windows? and will it take just as long to boot as my windows, too?

i got gohou drug the day before yesterday. i’m so in love with it! yup, it’s right up there with clover. well, i knew it was going to be great as i’ve read the installments in shoujoteikoku but reading the story from the beginning made things even more interesting for me. i just wish clamp won’t take too long to release an illustrations collection for gohou drug because all the colour artwork looks really really fabulous^^ i’m not quite positive about it as it took them what? two, three years too release the wish illustrations collection. (still so much time till it’ll be out… but it’ll make a nice christmas present for me ^^)

well, i decided not to talk about the whole plot of gohou drug here cause i would too easily be carried away. see, i could fill paragraphs to praise that manga^^
